Welcome to our IAAPA 2025 preview! In these annual posts before the event, we meticulously gather all of the information on the various manufacturers and their games that has been made available in advance – although do keep in mind, there is usually always an unexpected surprise somewhere. Just in case anyone is new here, IAAPA is a giant trade show held in the world capital of theme parks, Orlando, FL where the entire amusement industry (arcades, theme parks, and their...
Among our final entries in previews for the IAAPA 2025 tradeshow is exA-Arcadia. They often have a big roster of new games, if not the biggest, due to the ability to operate multiple games in each cabinet that they bring. This year is no exception, as we’ll detail below. Before that however, we have a couple of their game releases to discuss, so we’ll do that first, then the preview.

IAAPA 2025 isn’t the only major arcade event happening this month, with Japan’s Amusement Expo (formerly called JAEPO) is coming around again this weekend. This show has definitely diminished in its stature over time, partly due to the organizers not budging on it now being held close to IAAPA each November instead of the traditional February time frame. This complicates things for international visitors and exhibitors, to the point that some have to make the choice of attending only one...

Subscribe for the latest articles. 3D printing has revolutionized manufacturing sectors worldwide, but one critical aspect often overlooked is the emission of particles and chemicals during printing operations, and even from idle printers in the room. These emissions present significant health concerns through two main types: volatile organic compounds (VOCs) like formaldehyde and styrene that evaporate at room temperature causing respiratory irritation, headaches, and potential long-term health issues with chronic exposure;...
One company that usually unveils their lineups for Western shows pretty close to the wire is Bandai Namco, and today, as IAAPA 2025 closes in, we finally have confirmation of what one will find at booths #1300 & #1600. There are plenty of titles we have previously seen and heard about, but also a couple of surprises that they are now carrying, as can be seen in our preview scoop below Before we fully dive in, a little thing worth...
Next up on the IAAPA 2025 preview roster is UNIS. I remember first coming across them back in 2009, and they have come a long way since that time. They lean heavy into redemption & crane product, which is not our main focus here, so we’ll cover their new video titles first, then get into the prize/ticket stuff. As is often the case, they have a lot of floor space at the show, with two big booth spaces, #1035 & #1335...
Make: Community Editor David Groom will be on hand at MF SZ to get into the nitty gritty of the hardware capital of the world and the makers and innovators who drive it forward. “This will be my third Maker Faire Shenzhen in a row, and it’s easily one of my favourites! Shenzhen is an amazing city, which has to be seen to be believed. You may know the Bay Area of California as a hub of innovation, but...
Last year I decided I needed a forge so that I could advance my blacksmithing skills as another technique for my sculpting. There are many commercial models available but, being retired, I have more time than money so I decided to try my hand at making one. To start, I studied YouTube videos of DIY forges. There are many and I watched them all. None were exactly what I wanted so I set out to design a hybrid. I researched...
